About Us
The founders of The Oil Balance have worked with every major sector of the oil complex providing solutions to producers, refiners, marketers, and end-users. We have worked for trading shops on Wall St., international banks, and Mid-west family owned/run outfits who have risen to become key players in their sector. While we have had strategic roles in shaping the profitability of these companies we worked for, we were also able to meet with hundreds of trading counterparts advising and exchanging views with their C-Suite executives.
Our founders have also held several trading roles, taking on and wearing market risk. We know first-hand how valuable good research and analysis is. Prior to creating The Oil Balance, our president sat on the crude oil and products trading desk at a major trading shop for twelve years running real-time analysis, setting up supply/demand balance, and running a profitable trading book.
The Oil Balance is not your typical energy research firm. By taking on only a select number of clients for whom we build custom balances, we can spend time collaborating with your decision makers to produce an exclusive set of balances where all involved understand the underlying assumptions. Our work does not end there as we will continue to update and streamline your exclusive balances as new information becomes available.
